Detail about our service

About Orthopedic Department

At our clinic, our physicians specialize in orthopedic surgery, dealing with the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and injuries of the bones, muscles, tendons, nerves, and ligaments in adults and children. We have a general orthopedist who offers comprehensive surgical and non-surgical services that meet patient’s diverse needs – from an ankle sprain to a hip replacement, from a trigger finger to advanced shoulder and spinal surgery. Our SW11Medical Clinic remains committed to providing the best orthopedic care.

Consultation

Our orthopedic surgeons have extensive experience helping patients of all ages recover from injury and restore function for improved quality of life.

Diagnosis

We’ll listen to your concerns, provide a thorough examination, and create a treatment plan that’s unique to your condition, age, lifestyle and objectives.

Treatment

Every treatment plan relies on advanced approaches aimed at achieving the best results. We also work with rehabilitation therapists and other aftercare options.

What do you offer for non-surgical solutions?

Not every pain or injury needs surgery. Sometimes all you need is some icing, a brace, physical therapy, and some rest. We will start with non-surgical options to try to solve your problem. Examples of non-surgical options include injections where medication is placed directly inside the joint to reduce pain and swelling, physical therapy to increase your range of motion, build strength, and decrease pain. Other examples of non-surgical options include icing, rest, using medication such as anti-inflammatory medications to decrease swelling, low-impact exercises such as cycling and swimming or braces such as knee braces that help distribute pressure away from the painful area.

What if I have a broken bone?

Broken bones or fractures happen. If you think you have a broken bone, make an appointment. There are a variety of ways to treat a broken bone or fracture including casts, braces, slings, or other types of support. We will examine your break and pick the ideal solution for you to heal. We treat all kinds of broken bones including fractures of the arm, hand, wrist, knee, shoulder, hip, elbow, and ankle.

When Should I See an Orthopedic Specialist?

If you’re not sure if you should come directly to us or see your primary care provider first, call us. We will listen to your problem and help you decide.

What Should I Bring to My Appointment?

Remember to bring any X-rays, studies, tests or office notes from other health care providers that are important to your visit. (These may have already been sent by your provider for you.) Bringing these with you, helps us avoid having to repeat tests/studies. This helps keep your health care costs down.
